"BANKET.....AWWWWWWW BANKET.....BANKET!!!!!!!!!"

today was a tough day for marcella. not only did she puke...NASTY...but she got the nasty on her "banket", aka, blanket. all of the kids have been sick this week...some worse off than others. soooo, anyway, we had to wash her blanket. which at this stage of the game of having just puked, and totally panicked about that we had to wash her one comfort item. there was no sneaking this one. usually i wash her blanket when she's not paying attention in between naps. bellow is the emotional montage of "banket" being washed.

Here she is trying desperatly to open it and rescue it from certain death

now, i'm told by both of my parents that i was the same way when it was time to wash my "blankie". i would stand in front of the washer and dryer until it was done. i would like to think that i wasn't chanting "BANKET, BANKET, AWWWWWWWWW BANKET" while stopping my feet and crying uncontrolably...but i'm thinking i did. so, alas marcella is in bed with a clean "banket" and clean sheets...happy. on a side note, she got "all kanye west" on me and shoved the camera out of her face while i was snapping the shots. it was kinda funny, she was looking at me like "sheesh mom, can't you see i'm having a moment here, must you document this too...."
