happy october!

this was our trip to the pumpkin patch last year. the kids have changed so much! xavier has less hair, marcella has more hair, xavier has less teeth and marcella has more teeth, our family had fewer kids, now we have more kids...i'm seeing a theme! anyway, i brought out the halloween decorations and put them out. we went to the costume store last night and got xay his costume. he is a clone trooper this year. you know as i was looking around at all of the choices for kids, i got to thinking about when i was a kid. we made homemade costumes, non of this pre-fabed stuff. one year i was R-2-D-2 from starwars...my mom made the costume. i have to say it was pretty cool. i was the only robot amongst the nurses, doctors, squaws and witches. i think that we the year my brother was a jawa...funny, xavier is a clone trooper this year...same movie theme. marcella will be a penguin again this year. she keeps wearing and petting herself...the fur is so so so soft. quincy, well he'll be asleep, so i guess i will be on door duty.
