today my dad and mindy came over to celebrate marcella's birthday. when i got her up from her nap we went to the closet to pick out her outfit. after looking at each shirt and saying "uuummmmmm, nope, nope, nope, nope....ummmmmmmm dress mama?" we went to the dresses and she picked out this pink one. which is funny because that is the dress that i want her to wear tomorrow for her party...hopefully she still will ;) anyway, she went downstairs and said hi to grandma and grandpa Buts (i love this name by the way...for those of you who don't know, my maiden name was Butler. my niece, myree, my brother's daughter, calls my dad grandpa Buts...I LOVE IT!)

mindy hand made with so much love this quilt for my blankie girl. super silky on one side and softy soft on the other. she took it to bed with her tonight and said "covers mama" thank you grandma, it's perfect!
