quincy boy says "mama"

it seems to me that he is saying "mama" i hear him babble a lot and this sound is one of them. we all know he's just making noise, but it would be fun to say that his first word at 7 months old was "mama"!

wow two years has FLOWN by

it's hard to belive that two years ago today i delivered my own 7 pound 12 ounce turkey...that's right...Marcella Giovannia Tacker was born on thanksgiving day. i've since blinked my eyes and she's now two years old. marcella is a pistol, she knows what she wants and has a pretty good idea about how to get it. she has THE BEST giggle EVER! i can't describe it and i hope that she keeps it. she has many, many words now. she can put three to fours words together to form a sentence. she still enjoys her babies and stuffed animals. she loves her brothers and hands DOWN is a daddies girl. me and my baby girl

birthday celebrations begin with grandma & grandpa Buts

today my dad and mindy came over to celebrate marcella's birthday. when i got her up from her nap we went to the closet to pick out her outfit. after looking at each shirt and saying "uuummmmmm, nope, nope, nope, nope....ummmmmmmm dress mama?" we went to the dresses and she picked out this pink one. which is funny because that is the dress that i want her to wear tomorrow for her party...hopefully she still will ;) anyway, she went downstairs and said hi to grandma and grandpa Buts (i love this name by the way...for those of you who don't know, my maiden name was Butler. my niece, myree, my brother's daughter, calls my dad grandpa Buts...I LOVE IT!) pearing into the "magic" box...what's inside marcella??? two super cute outfits not pictured and.....

it started so innocently...she asked to see my make-up so i gave her an eyepencil and some eyeshadow that i don't use anymore. so she drew some small strokes...

she ended up fully painted...all a shimmering. that hand is xavier who had so much fun helping...oh well, at least it wasn't on the walls ;)
