baseball

 

last week xavier told brian he's going to be a baseball player. i think brian heard the angels sing, the coulds parted and the sun shown down. this was the day he's been waiting for. brian has since taken him to the batting cage and experinced for the first time a baseball flying at him 30 mph. the ball hit is fingers once and brian said he screamed so loud and cryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyed. BUT brian also said he was so very proud of him getting back in the cage and getting back at it. brian bought him his first REAL baseball glove and this cage thingy that bounces the balls back at you when you throw it and hit the net. he's been out there everyday practicing catching the ball. he's getting better and seeing the ball. needless to say brian's in heaven teaching his boy to play the game he loves so much, and i'm just happy seeing the two of them bonding :)....oh and he doesn't want to play football...YAY!!!
